Glue

I see your broken pieces
I almost step on their sharpness
I want to be their healing glue

I know you’re weary
I understand every part of you
I want to be your shoulder

I know your heart aches
trying to make sense of it all
but I won’t let you fall
Let me be your remedy

    • Thanks, Eric, and you’re right about needing the glue and being the glue at different times. Hope you’re weekend has been relaxing. Love and hugs to you, too, my friend. 🍂🍁😊

  1. Lauren, this is a powerful yet warm, and comforting poem. I agree with Debby. We all can use some of this glue from time to time, and that’s okay – that’s what friends are for. Love and hugs, my dear friend. ❤️🤗❤️
