Moonlight

Hold me close
My arms around you
Your hands in my hair
The room may tilt
But let’s stay here
Eyes lead to touching
Touching leads to dance
Moonlight shimmers
For a night of romance

  1. That’s a very sweet poem. It reminds me a little of when my wife and I first began courting. There’s not much tilting going on nowadays though. That would quickly become falling over, I’m afraid. 🙂

    • Thanks so much and you made me smile, too! We may get older and maybe the tilting turns to falling, but long lasting love is something to cherish also. And isn’t it everyday that we fall in love again with our soul mates? 🙂

Your thoughts are welcome!
