Sunrise

Hand-in-hand

I said, “I do”
You said, “I will”
after all these years
here we are still

following the sunrise
watching where it leads
always hand in hand
there’s nothing more we need

    • Thanks, Geo, yes, simplicity, but not easy for some; I’m blessed we’ve been together for so long and have endured any bumps that happened in our path…thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  1. I love this one very much, Lauren! It’s simple to the point, says a lot, and romantic all within a few words…it’s perfect!
    Have a great day!
Sending you much love and hugs xxx

    • Thanks, Deb, it’s very simple, but came to mind in a few minutes and I thought I’d post it anyway! 🙂 I love your interpretation! Have a great day, too; feeling better after being sick over the weekend and into the week…sending healthy hugs and love your way, too! 🙂

  2. The simple truth. There may be other things you desire… but nothing else needed. For you and your husband’s 25th…

    Your Life

    Like water bubbling endlessly
    from a mountain spring
    memories of my life
    always present
remind me of all I have done
    both good and bad…
    my cup is always full.

And I drink from the well
    keeping memories fresh
    that I can always remember.

    Sometimes, such a sweet taste
    fills me…
and I want to keep that taste of life
    fresh and vibrant…
    so filling and renewing…

    Thank you
    for giving me
such a wonderful taste of life.
And I will drink this memory
and remember how you have touched
    My life.

Your thoughts are always welcome!
