to the rhythm of the breeze

birds sing merrily

    • Thank you so much! I’m not a haiku expert, but have written many! The basics are they consist of 3 lines: 5-7-5 syllables in each line. They are a form of Japanese poetry and I believe originally written about nature. However, many poets/bloggers have stepped out of that box and written about other subjects in life…I’m included in this category! 🙂 You’ll find more information by googling, which comes in handy! I hope this helps and thanks again! 🙂

  1. I especially love Haiku about nature, and this one really makes my heart sing – lovely, Lauren! ~ Love, Julie xoxox

    • Thanks, Julie, I’m dreaming of mountains, the smell of pine and the whispering wind, since dreaming (and writing) is the next best thing! 🙂 Thanks again and I wish you a wonderful weekend and hope you’re feeling all better now! xoxo

Your thoughts are welcome!
